Annika thinks curlers (she pronounces them without the "rl") are the coolest thing, and when she's at Grandma's house, she gets curlers in her hair. The only problem... she doesn't realize that curlers are not the final result, only the means to an end. Because of this, the removal of the curlers is pretty devastating. What a blast! We were treated to a breakfast with the princesses at EPCOT, and it was such an amazing time. We got her glasses on Saturday, and so far she's been doing great- actually, way better than expected so far. She keeps them on almost all the time, and seems to really be pleased when she sees herself in the mirror (often putting her finger on them, tilting her head to the side, and saying "gasses." And that would explain why the lenses will almost always be dirty!). They need to be readjusted

Another question we get a lot is how Annika is doing with her little sister. She has done better than I ever anticipated! Whenever she hears Alexa cry, she'll say "Oh! Sissy..." and go and give her a kiss. Sometimes she even shares her toys and shoes (I'll often go to the pack & play to find Annika set a shoe in there!).

Tuesday was Dad's birthday. We went to Peoria to meet Dad for lunch. We ate from the carts downtown. How fun! Can you tell someone is ready for a nap? And Alexa, the two month old... We had a family reunion at the Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells... I think around 50 people were able to come.
