Two weeks away from home Part 5- Daddy's home!... and health update
...and what's new with my health... my hemoglobin is at 9.2 (normal is 12-16). It's slowly creeping up, but obviously not where it should be. I'm thankful though, that having a newborn feels so much easier than living in the zombielike state that pregnancy put me in! Anyway, that means back to the hematologist I go. I'm excited to hopefully FINALLY figure out what's wrong with me and get it fixed. Imagine what an energetic powerhouse I'd be if I was NORMAL!

Two weeks away from home Part 4- Roanoke
Two weeks away from home Part 3- Wisconsin Dells
We had a family reunion at the Wilderness in Wisconsin Dells... I think around 50 people were able to come. It was so great and there was so much to do- we barely even scratched the surface!
At one of the indoor waterparks...
poolside snack (I love how she is standing here!)...
3k run/walk about to start...
with my Grandma before we head out on the Wisconsin Ducks
I just think she's so stinkin' cute wrapped up in a towel...

heading back after lots of splashy fun
a bunch of the young family members (notice Annika poised to run?!)
Annika wearing her backpack... one of her new words that I love to hear her say.
Great memories of some good times with family!
Two weeks away from home Part 2- MN
The next day we left Annika under the care of her grandparents and the rest of us headed to Minnesota. Andy was traveling for work and we were blessed to be able to be with him, and I enjoyed some quality time with this growing girl.
Such a great time: a huge hotel room so I didn't go crazy, walking to go get coffee, and then Andy would come "home" and we'd go out for dinner... and relaxing and bonding with Alexa.
Two weeks away from home Part 1
Day one was a day in Princeville... first was a Feucht gathering for lunch and pooltime.
(Don't you love the floaties AND the tube? Daddy is very prepared!)
Kisses for Daddy...Then we crossed the street to play with cousins here from Virginia...
Annika spent a lot of time chasing and running from the doggies.
