Andy's New Adventure

***This is Andy talking:***

Flashback to before Annika was born... I had lost 27 pounds and was seven pounds from the goal weight for when she was born (granted, she was born a week early).

Back to the present: I have gained all but five of those pounds back. I played basketball with a certain friend who shall remain nameless (as he smoked me and we wouldn't want to make him too prideful: the war is far from over by the way, Ryan). As he ground me down, I wanted nothing more than to throw up (from exhaustion, not the embarrassing shellacking I was enduring). I then decided that I had had enough. So now it is back to work with a new goal: 49 pounds by Annika's first birthday! This is serious. There is a weight loss progress ticker at the bottom of the page so others can watch and hold me accountable (and please pray!)

Happy Anniversary

Yesterday was seven years of marriage. It has FLOWN by... and it has been a blast. He's still my favorite person to hang out with, hands down.

Fun in Georgia

The first weekend in June, we went to Georgia for [cousins] Brent and Staci's wedding! We also had the opportunity for some pool time- and Annika liked it! What fun.

Our Six Month Old!

Six months old today. Wow, it has flown by- it seems like just yesterday (though actually about a year ago) we found out she was a girl... and since then I can't believe how much love I have for her! This month has been so exciting; it seems like every day she does something new!

She woke up from her nap with these lovely handprints on her face, because now she rolls over to her belly to sleep, and she fell asleep on her hands!

And she was turning the pages! She keeps wowing me!
I was working in the kitchen and turned around and didn't see her... she had backed around the loveseat and was peeking out at me! The girl cracks me up.
